Paintworks for 'The Doom that came to Atlantic City" : The Great Cthulhu - (Cryptozoic Entertainment)
A few years ago I bought 'The Doom that came to Atlantic City', a light-hearted game of urban destruction set in the universe of H.P. Lovecraft. Basically it's Monopoly played by the wrong rules. It's not 'bad', but the game itself doesn't exactly rank in my top 10 :-). The playing pieces however are great, big (about 6-7cm/2,5inch) well detailed, plastic miniatures. The box comes with eight Great Old Ones. Here's the first...the greatest of them all... Cthulhu.

The heroes from "DungeonQuest" (1987) - Games Workshop
I'm the proud owner of an original 1987 "DungeonQuest". I have the game 30 years in my possession and I never came to paint the miniatures. Now I did... after 30 years being blue, the Barbarian, Knight, Adventurer and Ranger finally got some color.

Sir Rohan, the Knight |
Volrik The Brave, Adventurer |
El-Adoran, the Ranger |
