Als er één album is waar ik reikhalzend naar uitkijk in 2013 is het de nieuwe van Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Het is alweer van 2008 dat Nick ons vergastte met 'Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!' maar de man heeft ondertussen niet stilgezeten en heeft afgeleverd: één boek ('The Death of Bunny Munro'), twee albums met zijn 'Grinderman', samen met Warren Ellis de soundtracks voor de films 'The Road' en 'Lawless' én het scenario voor 'Lawless'. Over een artistieke duizendpoot gesproken!
Het is nog even wachten tot februari tot het album - dat 'Push the Sky' zal heten - bij je plaatselijke platenboer te verkrijgen zal zijn (ik ben nog van de ouwe stempel :-) ), maar hier is alvast een eerste, officiële track: 'We No Who U R'. Enjoy!
There's one album in 2013 I'm eagerly awaiting and that's the new Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. It's been since 2008 that Nick brought us 'Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!'. The man has not been idle though and has produced: one book ('The Death of Bunny Munro'), two albums with 'Grinderman', two soundtracks with Warren Ellis for the movies 'The Road' and 'Lawless' and the scenario for 'Lawless'.
We still have to wait till february until the album - Push the Sky - is released, but in the meantime, here's the first official track: 'We No Who U R'. Enjoy!
